MORE: Twenty-four of Canada’s top Curling teams (12 men’s and 12 women’s) will compete for just 8 qualifying spots.  Four teams of each gender will move on to Edmonton three weeks later for Tim Horton’s Roar of the Rings.  From there…just one men’s team and one women’s team will walk away with the maple leaf on the back of their jackets and go on to represent Canada in February 2010 , on the greatest sports stage in the world.  Some of the confirmed names include Randy Ferbey, Kevin Koe, Pat Simmons, Jeff Stoughton, Kerry Burtnyk, Wayne Middaugh, Kelly Scott, Sherry Anderson, Cheryl Bernanr, Shannon Kleibrink, Stephanie Lawton, Amber Holland, and Sherry Middaugh.
