Two Rivers Gallery 6th Annual Artists In the Garden Tour is on July 20th, 2008 10:00am – 3:00pm. 5 distinct gardens located in Miworth, Ridgeview, 2 off Chief Lake Road and Ness Lake. Early Bird Tickets available until June 20th are just $25 at the Two Rivers Gallery. $30 after June 20th. All proceeds go directly to the Two Rivers Gallery. Celebrate art in nature and the nature of art on July 20th with the 6th annual Artists in the Garden Tour. This annual fundraising event showcases musicians and local artists working with a variety of materials in spectacular, and distinct, gardens from 10 to 3pm (regardless of the weather!) All proceeds go directly to Two Rivers Gallery.The self guided driving tour is a very popular event with over 270 tickets sold last year. Guests make up their own itinerary in visiting the gardens within their own timeframe. The average visit is 45 minutes long per garden and is a wonderful way to spend a summer’s Sunday with art, music in beautiful and inspirational gardens. This year Two Rivers Gallery is offering Artzone a day of art activities in the Gallery for children 5yrs+. Artzone is sponsored by SpeeDee Your Office Experts and is included in the price of your ticket. Pre-registration for Artzone is required and space is limited. Drop your children off at the Gallery for a fun filled day of art activities while you treat yourself to a delightful day out. 5 distinct gardens located in Miworth, Ridgeview, 2 off of Chief Lake Road and Ness Lake. All the gardens are new to the tour. There will be approximately 5 artists per garden and they will be showcasing and working with clay, stone, wood, photography, mixed media and oil, acrylic and watercolour paintings. Confirmed artists to date are: Stuart Antonenko, wood & stone carver (UNBC Timberwolf carver), Elmer Gunderson, wood carver (Cottonwood Park tree carvings), Lesley White, oil painter (Ducks Unlimited 2008 National Art Portfolio You Go First!), Ute Wilder & Book Buksa (photographers), Maureen Hamilton (painter), Leanna Carlson (ceramics), Elenor Riley (stone & canvas painter), 2880 Artists Workshop, Artists CoOp (artists with a variety of media). Door prize: red boots & blue denim a wonderful ‘flower pot people’ piece made and donated by Don Basserman.
