Maybe Matt Damon and Ben Affleck really did come between Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel because they've broken up. From the outside, Silverman and Kimmel seemed like a solid couple. They'd been together for five years. Earlier this year, they had fun with their video duel. Silverman debuted a clip on Kimmel's show of her and Matt Damon singing about their fake love affair. Kimmel later responded with a star-studded video declaring a romance with Ben Affleck.

The Drive Nooner - Random Rock News: (Weekdays at 12:10pm)

A decade and a half after releasing its previous album, there are reports that Guns N' Roses may put out a new song in September, on the video game Rock Band 2. This suggests that the Guns N' Roses album "Chinese Democracy" could come out this fall, after years of delays. Axl Rose, who has selected replacements for the other original members, has said that the album is finished, but a release date has not been announced.

Rock Band 2 may have secured a new Guns n’ Roses song, but Guitar Hero III has acquired an entire album: Metallica’s Death Magnetic. Though the band still hasn’t named an exact release date, Metallica announced on their Website that the day their new album comes out in September, “you’ll be able to download every song from the album for Guitar Hero III!” The band also promises that Death Magnetic will be ready to go once Guitar Hero: World Tour hits the streets in the fall.

Classic Rock Song Facts: (Weekdays at 1:20pm)

The song, to a certain degree, is about Dublin, Ireland.

Brian Eno produced this and played the organ intro. Steve Lillywhite, who produced U2's first 3 albums, was brought in to do the final mix.

This is the first track on The Joshua Tree, which became the fastest selling album in both the US and UK.

This was extremely difficult to produce. The arrangement was written on a blackboard because it was so complex. Producer Brian Eno estimated that the recording of this song absorbed over 40% of the time spent on The Joshua Tree. Eno became so frustrated trying to mix the track that he almost destroyed the tape and started over.

The video showed U2 putting on an impromptu concert on the roof of The Million Dollar Hotel in Los Angeles. Some onlookers were delighted, while others were upset because they were stopping traffic. It won the Grammy for Best Performance Music Video in 1989.

When asked about the similarity between U2's rooftop video and The Beatles rooftop concert, Bono said, "We've ripped off The Beatles many times before."

It is ... Where The Streets Have No Name ... by U2.

It takes more than double-sided tape and speeches about world peace to be crowned Miss Universe. Like, say, the ability to smile and stand at the same time. Better luck next year, Miss USA. Just as last year's American representative before her, Miss USA slipped and fell during her grueling evening wear sashay across the stage in Vietnam Sunday, paving the way for 22-year-old Miss Venezuela, Dayana Mendoza, to snatch the crown.

Classic Rock Song Facts: (Weekdays at 1:20pm)

This was the first AC/DC single featuring new lead singer Brian Johnson.

Johnson came up with the opening line when he realized that cars and women were very much alike.

Johnson said the inspiration came from seeing images of American girls while recording in the Bahamas for the album Back In Black.

The song is often placed within the Top-100 guitar solos of all time.

This was the first AC/DC song to make the US Top-40.

Some copies of the single were pressed incorrectly with the song "Shake A Leg" instead of this and are considered collectors items.

AC/DC played this when they were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2003. Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, who inducted them, sang on it with them.

Shania Twain sang this on her Up! Close And Personal TV special (also released as a DVD). Her then-husband, Mutt Lange, produced the original.

It is ...You Shook Me All Night Long ... by ACDC.

Classic Rock Song Facts: (Weekdays at 1:20pm)

The song is about a passionate one night stand with a woman who wants "more."

On an episode of VH1 Storytellers, Idol explained that he got the idea for this song at an event he attended where Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ron Wood of The Rolling Stones were taking swigs from a bottle of bourbon whiskey with the same name. This gave Idol the idea for the title and he wrote the song around it.

Sesame Street parodied this (becoming "Rebel L") to teach children the alphabet.

It is ... Rebel Yell ... by Billy Idol.

Classic Rock Song Facts: (Weekdays at 1:20pm)

Stevie Nicks wrote this song and sang lead. While Nicks has never been clear on the meaning, it seems to be about cocaine: "Take your silver spoon, dig your grave," the spoon being what you may snort the cocaine from. Nicks' relationship with Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham may also have influenced the song, as they were going through some difficult times.

In Mick Fleetwood's book My Life and Adventures in Fleetwood Mac, he explains that it took Nicks 8 takes to get the vocal right, and they were recorded early in the morning. Fleetwood described Nicks as "hunched over in a chair, choosing from her supply of tissues, a Vicks inhaler, a box of lozenges for her sore throat and a bottle of mineral water."

Among the artists who have recorded this song: Waylon Jennings and Sheryl Crow.

It is ... Gold Dust Woman ... by Fleetwood Mac.

Many people thought the line "I've got a little change in my pocket, going jingle, linga, ling" was a reference to masturbation. The group denied this.

The group was signed to Elektra Records after executives heard a cheaply made 8-track demo of this song. Elektra gave the band a 5-figure budget to cut an entire album of material, but despite attempting several different recordings of this track, none of these takes were as good as the demo. The demo was included on the album, and that is the version you hear.

It is ... Keep Your Hands To Yourself ... by Georgia Satellites.
