Classic Rock Song Facts: (Weekdays at 1:20pm)

This is the last song on the Rock Opera, “Tommy.”

The message of unification and hope in this song was inspired by Meher Baba, a guru Pete Townshend was following.

This and "Pinball Wizard" are the only songs from the album The Who continued to play live after they toured for Tommy.

The Who played all of Tommy at Woodstock, and they performed this song just as the sun was rising on the third morning of the festival in 1969. That image from Woodstock helped launch Roger Daltrey's career as a sex symbol and The Who's success in America.

This title of this song is also the title of a Biopic about Who drummer Keith Moon. The full title of the movie is See Me, Feel Me: Keith Moon Naked for Your Pleasure. It is produced by Who frontman Roger Daltrey and Mike Myers plays Moon.

It is ... See Me Feel Me ... The Who !

Classic Rock Song Facts: (Weekdays at 1:20pm)

In an interview, Lenny Kravitz once said, "When I did this song, everyone said what a naive piece of s--t it was. Journalists would ask, 'Don't you feel funny singing about that?' and I was like, If I were sitting here singing about the devil and raping children, then it'd be okay? God forbid you sing about love. It's a lost concept."

This was the title track from Lenny Kravitz's debut album on which he provided almost all of the instrumental and vocal material himself.

Lenny Kravitz's then wife Lisa Bonet directed and appeared in the music video for this song.

It is ... Let Love Rule ... Lenny Kravitz !
