EVENT: MEAT LOAF
SHOW DATE: POSTPONED. Under the advisement of his doctor, Meat Loaf will not be performing his scheduled appearance on Wed. Aug. 4th at CN Centre. The concert will be rescheduled when Meat Loaf has fully recovered.  An exact date cannot be announced at this time, but information will be shared as soon as possible.  Ticket holders are urged to retain their tickets until early August when more information will be available.

UNBC Timberwolves Summer Basketball Camps
EVENT: The Drive presents the UNBC Timberwolves 12th Annual Summer Basketball Camps at the Northern Sports Centre.
DETAILS: Your kids will get instruction from the finest coaches in Canadian College basketball and have lots of fun doing it. Todd Jordan of the defending Men's National Championship team and long time Women's coach Loralyn Murdoch. Camps are open to players from Grade 2-10 and a one week elite camp for Grades 9 till 12. Camps run July 12th- 15th, July 19th-22nd (Elite camp) and August 16th - 19th. To find out more and to register drop by the desk of the Northern Sports Centre or call 250 960 6366.

Prince George All-out

EVENT: Prince George All-Out
WHEN: August 6-8th
WHERE: PG Motor Sports Park at 9285 Raceway Road
MORE: There are 4 classes: Box and No Box, Bike/Sled and Junior Dragsters. $10,000 in guaranteed prize money. NHRA rules apply. Spectator tickets are $10 per day. Entry fee is $100 and includes the car driver and one pit person. There is a test and tune Friday night, time only Saturday morning, King of the Hill Saturday Afternoon and eliminations are on Sunday.

EVENT: 98th Annual Prince George Exhibition

Prince George Cougars Hockey School
EVENT: Prince George Cougars Hockey School
COST: Camp fees are just $125 plus HST, which includes a jersey for each participant. Interested players are encouraged to reserve their spot with a $50 deposit as soon as possible, as a maximum of 30 players will be accepted in each age category. Fees must be paid in full no later than Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010.
DETAILS: The Prince George Cougars Hockey School is back! Space is limited for local hockey players looking for the chance to learn from instructors Brett Connolly, Jesse Forsberg and Hudson Stremmel this summer during Prince George Cougars Hockey School. Cougars Coach Dean Clark, Assistant Coach Jason Becker and Athletic Trainer Chico Dhanjal will lead the week-long hockey school, scheduled for August 23-27, 2010 at CN Centre. All other returning veteran Cougars will also help to facilitate sessions in three age categories: Initiation (ages 6-8), Atom (ages 9-10) and Pee Wee (ages 11-12+). Players will take part in over 6 hours of on-ice instruction and over 6 hours of off-ice dry-land training.
